Prescott Valley Climate

Citizens of Prescott Valley enjoy temperate weather during each of nature's four seasons. With an average total of 12 inches of annual rainfall, the area is often viewed as a dry, sun-soaked region in central Arizona. More than a mile above sea level, the infrequent snowfall does not last but a few hours before melting away. Also affecting the summers, days and nights are generally cooler and breezier than those of our lower level neighbors.

Yearly temperatures in the spring reach the 50's and 60's while summers rarely exceed the high 90's and regularly stay in the upper 80's. During fall months, the temperatures fluctuate between the 60's and 70's, with winter dipping into the 40's during the day and 20's at night. The varied, favorable seasons are a major element in attracting visitors and new residents to Prescott Valley.
