

Brewton and East Brewton provide its residents and visitors with a variety of choices in dining and area attractions. Both cities offer diverse menus for any appetite with a wide assortment of restaurants, ranging from casual to fine dining. Historic downtown offers local establishments open for lunch and dinner, and situated close by are plenty of choices for local shopping.
Eateries, which serve up baked goods, barbecue, seafood, Chinese and Mexican dishes, pizza, hamburgers and of course, fast food, are all located throughout the city and are sure to fit any budget. The Dogwood Hills Municipal facility features homestyle cooking, along with such amenities as a golf course, tennis courts, swimming pool, gazebo, children’s playground and a splash pad is in the works. The Country Club of Brewton, located on the north side of town, as well as The Ritz, a private reception hall on the downtown boardwalk, are available as large entertainment venues.
The cities of Brewton and East Brewton also provide rental facilities that are available for receptions, family reunions or other community events.

The City Park is located in the middle of Historic Downtown Brewton. Featuring a clock tower, cascading water fountain, covered gazebo and beautiful landscaping, residents can take a stroll during lunch or before they start a shopping spree in nearby retail venues. Burnt Corn Creek Park, located just across the street from the historic downtown boardwalk, is now fully constructed and runs adjacent to Murder Creek. There are also plans to develop a skate park on the grounds. In addition, there is access to the waterway for people to enjoy the water, go for a run or stroll by on a warm summer’s day.
The annual Blueberry Festival is held the third Saturday in June at Burnt Corn Creek Park and is a delight for all generations. Brewton is the Blueberry Capital of Alabama and, on this day, everything blueberry can be found. Featuring arts and crafts booths, festival cookbooks, live entertainment, an antique car show, motorcycle rally, children’s entertainment section and a delicious food court including fresh blueberries, cobbler and ice cream, this festival provides entertainment for the whole family.
Visitors will be pleased with the accommodations Brewton has to offer, which includes two major hotels. Whatever your budget or ideal home away from home, Brewton is sure to have what you’re looking for. The Brewton Inn has recently finished a renovation, which will please visitors. Located directly in the middle of town, the Inn offers 90 rooms as well as conference room availability. The Days Inn is located on the south side of town and easily accommodates business and pleasure travelers. There are also RV parks for our motor home and RV travelers who desire a longer stay. And if camping is your cup of tea, there are campsites close by at the Blackwater State Park where you can pitch a tent or park your RV.
