Dining, Lodging & Attractions

There is always something fun to do in Brewton.

Brewton offers a diverse menu for any appetite with a wide assortment of restaurants from fine dinning to casual spots. Downtown offers local establishments open for lunch and dinner as well as a very popular coffee house. Eateries which dish up barbecue, seafood, hamburgers and, of course, fast food are all located throughout the city and are sure to fit any budget. There is the Country Club of Brewton on the north side of town which is also available as a large entertainment venue as well as The Ritz on the downtown boardwalk. In between, there is a catfish house, a Mexican hotspot and Dogwood Hills, which features good, homestyle cooking. You can be sure that you’ll find something on Brewton’s menu that will suit your palate.

The City Park is located in the middle of Historic Downtown Brewton. Featuring a gazebo and beautiful landscaping, residents can take a stroll during lunch or before they start a shopping spree in nearby retail venues. A new city park is taking shape just behind the boardwalk and along Murder Creek. There is access to the waterway for people to enjoy the water as well as stroll by on a warm summer’s day.

The annual Blueberry Festival is held in June and is a delight for all generations. Brewton is the Blueberry Capital of Alabama and we won’t let anyone forget it. Blueberry everything can be found on this day and with games, rides, arts and crafts booths, the festival will be fun for the whole family.
