
At Jefferson Davis Community College (JDCC), students may complete an associate degree, earn an occupational certificate or earn transfer credits in their quest for a bachelor’s degree. Jeff Davis also offers a host of continuing education classes for adults and children, as well as customized training for businesses and industries. In addition, adult literacy and GED preparation classes are available, and JDCC serves as a focal point in the community.

One of the college’s most popular programs is nursing, which boasts more than 1,200 graduates. The nursing program is fully accredited by the National League of Nursing Accrediting Commission and has full approval of the Alabama Board of Nursing. Many nursing graduates choose employment at our local medical facilities.
JDCC also offers programs in chemical technology, welding, air conditioning and refrigeration, office administration, computer networking, masonry and auto body repair.
The college has tremendous athletic opportunities and scholarships as well. With a nationally recognized baseball team, as well as basketball, volleyball, tennis and cheerleading teams, each is an opportunity for our young adults to express themselves beyond the classroom.
Huntingdon College offers convenient and accelerated evening business classes for full-time working professionals or stay-at-home parents on the campus of Jefferson Davis. This unique program is designed for busy adults and offers a Bachelor of Science in Business Management degree, along with financial assistance for eligible students.
