Education for the Entire Community
At Jefferson Davis Community College, students may complete an associate’s degree, earn an occupational certificate, or earn transfer credits in their quest for a bachelor’s degree.
Jeff Davis also offers a host of continuing education classes for adults and children, offers customized training for businesses and industries, offers adult literacy and GED preparation classes, and serves as a focal point in the community.
One of the college’s most popular programs is nursing, which boasts more than 1,200 graduates. The nursing program is fully accredited by the National League of Nursing Accrediting Commission and has full approval of the Alabama Board of Nursing.
JDCC also offers programs in chemical technology, welding, air conditioning and refrigeration, office administration, computer networking, masonry, and auto body repair.
The college has tremendous athletic opportunities and scholarships as well. With a nationally recognized baseball team as well as basketball, volleyball, tennis and cheerleading teams, each is an opportunity for our young adults to express themselves beyond the classroom.
