At the center of Brewton’s healthcare network is D.W. McMillan Hospital. Providing an intensive care unit, an emergency room and 85 beds for the infirm, the hospital also houses a radiation therapy unit, a nuclear medicine diagnostic center, has ultrasound and arteriographic capabilities, and an oncology clinic. Full body C.T. scans are also provided as well as a full respiratory therapy department.

West Gate Village, a nursing home, is located in Brewton and accommodates 129 people. The Meadows, which is an assisted living facility, is just across the street and is able to accommodate even more residents.
