Culture abounds throughout Cullman. Visitors and residents alike will find a variety of choices to fulfill their educational and cultural pleasures. Known as the “Jerusalem in Miniature”, visitors to Ave Maria Grotto will discover over 125 miniature reproductions of famous buildings, churches and religious shrines. The Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament of our Lady of the Angels Monastery is open to the public seven days a week. The monastery showcases architectural influences from around the world.

The Evelyn Burrow Museum of Wallace State College and the Cullman County Museum provide visitors with the opportunity to learn and experience aspects of American life dating back to the 1800s. Other notable attractions include Clarkson Covered Bridge, North Alabama Birding Trail, Echota Cherokee Interpretive Center, Cullman County Agricultural Center, Peinhardt Living History Farm, Cullman Depot, Weiss Cottage and Cullman’s newest attraction – The Arts Center Dinner Theatre.
