Decatur Education
Decatur City Schools meet the educational needs of approximately 8,700 students through 12 grade schools, three middle schools and three high schools.
A professional staff of approximately 675 and a support staff of approximately 425 take pride in challenging the students to excel in all they do. The Decatur City Schools provide opportunities for all students to experience success and to be prepared for future education, the world of work and achieving lifelong skills.
