“Enterpride” is how Mayor Kenneth Boswell likes to describe the sense of community and civic responsibility that is prevalent throughout the City of Enterprise.

That pride is reflected throughout all of the modern and dynamic government departments and is a direct reflection of the community spirit found throughout Enterprise.

The Enterprise Police Department is staffed by nearly 80 individuals including: 36 patrol officers, 11 investigators, 13 dispatchers, 14 crossing guards and various other support staff. The Enterprise Police Department provides progressive and innovative techniques to protect and serve the community. K-9 units, bicycle patrol, community policing, D.A.R.E. programs and a proactive traffic enforcement program are just some of the ways the Enterprise Police Department proves that law enforcement is not only a profession… it is a passion.

With a Class 3 ISO rating, the Enterprise Fire Department ranks among the top three percent of all fire departments in the country. The majority of all firefighters are certified with EMT, Intermediate or Paramedic training, allowing the department to handle a diverse array of emergency situations. A full time department with a dozen firefighters on each shift, the Enterprise Fire Department maintains modern equipment including one ladder truck, one brush truck and two support vehicles. The department also employs state-of-the-art thermal imaging cameras to better locate and handle emergency situations.
