Founded in 1905, Medical Center Enterprise began as a 10-bed hospital staffed by one physician. Today, Medical Center Enterprise is a modern 131-bed acute-care facility staffed by a team of more than 450 including 50 independent physicians. As Enterprise has grown, so has Medical Center Enterprise. Over $2 million was invested in 2002 to double the rooms available for the treatment of emergency room patients. A 2004 project created modern suites for newborns and their mothers. Finally, another $5 million endeavor in 2006 created an additional 28 private patient rooms on the hospital’s fourth floor.

Medical Center Enterprise, 334-347-0584, provides several key services: 24-hour emergency service, obstetrics, gynecology, inpatient and outpatient surgery, diagnostics (including MRI), medical units, endoscopy and rehabilitation services.

Enterprise is also home to several medical clinics, out-patient services, specialists, and dentists. The City has a 24-hour emergency ambulance and rescue service, E-911, several assisted living facilities and an adult day care.
