The building that houses Uncle Grumpy's Furniture has been a landmark on south Hand Avenue since World War II. Aaron's Sales and Lease has over 1,500 locations across the nation selling and renting furniture, electronics, computers and appliances with a convenient location in Bay Minette on Chamber Drive. Only about 20 minutes from Bay Minette, the Eastern Shore Centre is an open-air mall that is inviting to shoppers. Just a bit farther away in Foley, lies the Tanger Outlet Center featuring over 120 manufacturer outlet stores. In neighboring Mobile, shopping centers put a diverse grouping of stores in an easily accessible location, great for one-stop shopping. The Bel Air Mall is home to over 130 stores with anchors including JC Penney, Sears and Target. The Bass Pro Shopping Center is also nearby in Spanish Fort. Dining The flavors of north Baldwin converge in the many dining establishments. The Stagecoach Café in nearby Stockton serves an amazing spread of Southern-style home cooking to satisfy the hungriest customers. With favorites like fried chicken, full stomachs are a sure thing.
Mary's Restaurant in Bay Minette is a fine addition to the city, pleasing the taste buds of residents and visitors every day. It is located on Hoyle Avenue. Street’s Seafood Restaurant on Highway 31 in Bay Minette gets top-notch ratings for its scrumptious, fresh seafood choices. For spicy sensations, visit Monterray's Mexican Grill on McMeans Avenue in Bay Minette for some tasty tacos, burritos or a side of guacamole. One of the newest restaurants in Bay Minette is the Shrimp Basket located on Highway 59 south. Here diners can get their fill of delicious shrimp and other seafood specialties. Also located on Highway 59 south is Church's Chicken, an international chain restaurant with over 1,500 locations.
