Worship

There are over 100 churches in Ozark and Dale County representing many denominations. Over the years, the strength of our churches has contributed to an abundance of civic and social organizations that shape our future and form strong community outreach. Religion has played a large part in the area’s development, and the community still values the services that each church provides and contributes to the community. Many churches that date back to the 1800s are still active, including Claybank Church, built in 1852—making it the oldest original church building standing today in the southern region. Churches and families are the heart of any community. Ozark and Dale County are no different. Ozark’s worship centers are respected and appreciated as an invaluable part of the community.
