From the President
Welcome to the Buckeye Valley Chamber of Commerce "Millennium" Community Guide & Membership Directory. It is my pleasure to be able to communicate to you about our rapidly growing community. The directory is a great way to locate businesses like yours, which are part of our community. As a volunteer executive working on behalf of the Chamber, I encourage every member, business and resident to become involved with the Town; the more involvement, the better. I also encourage you to make a sincere effort to attend Chamber activities, such as social events, mixers, and annual sponsored events. An appropriate aphorism to todays Chamber actively compares the Chamber to a fitness gym, "if you dont participate, youll see no change." Read your monthly Chamber newsletter, mark the event dates on your calendars, and encourage your fellow employees to take part in Chamber activities. The time you spend will always be a wise investment. By allowing the benefits of Chamber membership to take root and by carefully cultivating it, I am convinced that you will see a new vibrancy and energy in your own business.
In our active growing role, the Buckeye Valley Chamber is focusing on the following:
On behalf of the Board of Directors, we extend our sincere gratitude to our members and ask that you call on us to provide any assistance we can as your Chamber of Commerce.
If you are not a member of the Buckeye Valley Chamber of Commerce, we extend an invitation to you to join this outstanding organization as we grow for the future.
With best regards,
Mr. Michael Melton
From the Executive Director
On behalf of the Buckeye Valley Chamber of Commerce, we are proud to provide you with our new "2001 Millennium Community Profile & Membership Directory." Our Chamber was incorporated November 22, 1926 and represents more than 150 businesses and we are still growing. This year is our 75th year of service to the Buckeye Valley.
We hope you find this directory useful in doing business in Buckeye. Many exciting things are developing in our fast growing area. New quality homes and our first golf course are going to be a reality starting this year. Buckeye, with its easy access off of I-10, is tailor-made for growth. Hence, more businesses will follow and we are up to the task of helping to expand new businesses with your patronage.
We encourage you to support Buckeye businesses and to join us and become part of our team.
