Lying just 35 miles west of Phoenix, Arizona along Interstate Route 10, is the town of Buckeye. It is served by a network of roadways, railways and an unencumbered municipal airport. The area combines the best in modern Southwest living with traditional American hometown values. The people here have a healthy frontier spirit and open friendliness. Encompassing an area of more that 450 sq. miles, Buckeye has a population of 6,600 residents (1999 est.) living the good life. Many who come here have relocated from all across the country to find a city perfectly suited to their needs.
Buckeye is located just close enough to downtown Phoenix to be convenient for work, sightseeing and an exciting nightlife, yet far enough away to retain a comfortable small-town feeling. Therefore, the residents who are proud to call Buckeye home have the best of both worlds. They can take advantage of offerings found around a metropolitan city and throughout its western suburbs, and then return to the quiet comfort of home. Here, they find a great place to live, work and discover the best that Arizona has to offer.
