Welcome to Bullhead City, a desert paradise with nearly 360 days of sunshine each year. The Bullhead City area is a pristine desert climate with clean air and is an ideal playground for water-based recreation and desert lovers. Bullhead City has a variety of homes to offer, from newly built or resale homes in gated communities with amenities and activities. There are established subdivisions without cookie-cutter-type looking homes. The area also offers retirement communities and adult living resorts for those over 55 to enjoy their retirement years. Golf course community homes are available for avid golfers. At the end of the day, if you like watching sunsets over the Colorado River and Black Mountains, then a riverfront home or condominium is the place for you.
There are many reasons to visit and possibly relocate your business and family to Bullhead City. We offer K-12 education, charter schools and a two-year community college. There are two hospitals in the area along with specialized medical doctors and facilities to assist you in fulfilling your medical needs. Bullhead City brings a variety of retail shops and restaurants for all your shopping or dining out needs. There’s no need to leave our desert community so local dollars stay local. The city of Bullhead City partners with many service clubs and the Chamber of Commerce to hold special events like the River Regatta, Bullhead City Bike Fest, Burro BBQ, the Christmas Parade and Winterfest, are just a few great events that bring thousands of people down to our area of the Colorado River. Simply put, there is always something happening in the Bullhead City area, when you go across the river to Laughlin, the resort casinos have top-notch entertainers for all ages to enjoy and an awesome variety of gaming for those 21 and over.
Oatman is a must-see while visiting our area. Oatman is the “ghost town that refuses to die” with gun fights happening daily, roaming wild burros and specialty shops. Plan on including Oatman while on a Route 66 road trip. Outdoor enthusiasts enjoy hiking, biking, off-roading and many water sports, including fishing, boating, water skiing, jet skiing, canoeing and kayaking on the Colorado River and Lake Mohave. There is truly something for everyone.

You’re invited to spend a day, a weekend or much longer exploring Arizona’s West Coast. The Bullhead City area is home to activities and attractions to suit every vacationer’s and resident’s style and budget. The only complaint you will have is how fast the time flies when you’re in Bullhead City because it’s simply a desert paradise.
