The Hoover Companies is establishing developments that are contributing to the expansion of Mohave County, the fastest growing population in the United States, and to the surrounding tri-state area.

For more than 25 years, brothers’ Brad and John Hoover have been quietly building a reputation for developing outstanding new home communities under the Hoover Quality Homes name.

All the while these distinct neighborhoods have been taking shape; The Hoover Companies have been acquiring large parcels of land in Mohave Valley, and continue to search for additional land to develop.

The Hoover Companies are developers of upscale, affordable homes. Mohave Valley Business Park, the only master-planned business park in the area with affordable lease rates, has businesses from outside the tri-state area inquiring about the build-to-suit opportunities. The grand opening of El Rio Professional Plaza will provide new locations for 1st Bank of Arizona, Springberg & McAndrews Financial Services, Michael Alan Furnishings and other needed businesses for the area. El Rio Professional Plaza will serve as a resource center and a one-stop shopping “mall” for mortgage, insurance and title services. The Hoover Companies have engaged a new generation of golf course architects that have designed courses with lush fairways, desert landscaping, and the best finishing holes in Arizona. Their land developments provide a world-class golfing experience. The El Rio Golf & Country Club, with its 18-hole championship golf course, hosted the 2006 Women’s Ladies Professional Golf Association Teaching and Club Professionals National Civil Cup, a three-day event. Matt Dye, one of the best new generation golf course architects, designed the 7,115-yard layout with a unique blend of challenge and playability for golfers of all skill levels. The recently opened El Rio’s Terrace Restaurant and golf shop, overlooking the master-planned golf course that opened for play in May of 2005, are receiving excellent reviews from visitors and locals alike.
