Bullhead City Golf
Surrounded by a picturesque setting and a warm year-round climate, the area’s beautiful golf courses are sure to provide a wonderful experience for golfers of all levels. Bullhead City is home to a handful of well-maintained courses and is in close proximity to several additional courses located within a 35-mile radius. Whether a golfer is looking for a traditional course or a championship course, flat greens or rolling hills, one of the area’s courses will certainly meet that expectation.
Two nine-hole courses are situated in Bullhead City – Riverview Golf Club and Chaparral Country Club – both offering 18-hole play as well. In addition to these are two expansive 18-hole courses. Laughlin Ranch Golf Course is an 18-hole championship course spanning more than 7,000 yards of well-manicured greens. The dramatic elevation changes found at the course makes for quite a challenge. Laughlin Ranch also offers an extensive clubhouse, comprised of a pro shop, restaurant, banquet and meeting facilities, a pool, day spa and workout facility. Desert Lakes Golf Club is an 18-hole, par 72 course stretching over 6,500 yards. The course encompasses a unique eight-acre lake offering island greens, and is equipped with a driving range.
Several other notable courses are located near Bullhead City. Mojave Resort Golf Club in Laughlin, Nevada is an 18-hole championship course that has been recognized as the Best Golf Course, the Best Pro Shop and Best Golf Pro three years in a row, and also received a four-star rating by Golf Magazine in 2005.
For those looking to improve their short game, Willow Springs Golf Course, just 10 miles south in Mohave Valley, offers nine holes and a par 27, with fairways ranging from 98 yards up to 155 yards. Also make sure to check out Needles Municipal Golf Course, only 22 miles away in Needles, California, and Kingman’s Cerbat Cliffs Municipal Golf Course, a 35 mile drive in Kingman.
