Bullhead City Economic Development

ribbon cutting

The Bullhead Regional Economic Development Authority (EDA) is a non-profit agency working with the City of Bullhead City to direct and implement a variety of economic development activities. A 25-member board, representing many different economic sectors of the community, governs the EDA. Daily operations fall under the guidance of an executive director and support staff. Memberships are available to all citizens of the region.

The prime objective of the EDA is to attract new businesses to the area and assist with the retention and expansion of existing businesses. This is in part accomplished by ensuring that all of the incentives offered by the state, county and city are made available to all who qualify.

The long-term goals of the organization include increasing employment opportunities, population and tax base, strategically positioning our community and its businesses to better compete in the global economy, and facilitating the creation of high-paying jobs for our workforce.

The EDA will package SBA 7(a) and SBA 504 loans for clients who qualify and request that service, as well as assist with the development of business plans for any entity in the region.
