
The area’s colleges and universities offer everything from skills training to advanced degrees. Yavapai College offers associate degrees in 75 areas of study and gives residents the opportunity to earn undergraduate and graduate degrees through its partnership with Arizona State University. Yavapai College’s Chino Valley Campus is the home to the Agribusiness and Science Technology Center, which provides a number of agriculture-related programs designed for students to attain both degrees and certificates.
Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Prescott College and Northern Arizona University Prescott Campus are within 15 miles of Chino Valley. Embry-Riddle’s 539-acre Prescott Campus serves approximately 1,650 students enrolled in a host of both degree and non-degree programs. Prescott College is a liberal arts college affording students both bachelor’s and Master’s degrees, as well as teaching certificates, while Northern Arizona University’s Prescott Campus provides undergraduate and graduate programs on-site and online as well.
In addition to these excellent higher education facilities is North Central University, which offers excellent online education, as well.
