Chino Valley Government

desert

The town of Chino Valley is led by a progressive Council-Manager form of government comprised of a mayor and six City Council members. The council meets on a regular basis every second and fourth Thursday of the month. These meetings, held in the Council Chambers at Town Hall (1020 West Palomino Road), begin at 6:00 p.m.

Chino Valley residents are served by a Fire District Headquarters and a USDA Forest Service facility. Law enforcement is handled by the Chino Valley Police Department and Yavapai County Sheriff’s Department. Both are proudly supported by volunteer Search and Rescue teams. What’s more, low drug and crime rates prevail in this community.

Regular and special council meetings are taped and aired on Chino Valley’s Government Access Channel 13. Residents can also view forums, local parades and festivities, local theater productions, special presentations and public service announcements.
