Central
Arizona College is a two-year community college that offers students a
variety of university transfer degree programs and more than 80 occupational/technical
degrees and certificates. CAC has transfer agreements with the three state
universities, Grand Canyon University, University of Phoenix, as well
as Brigham Young University. CAC's first campus, Signal Peak Campus, opened
in 1969. The college has two other campuses, the Aravaipa Campus near
Winkelman and the Superstition Mountain Campus near Apache Junction. Whether
a student is interested in pursuing a bachelor's degree or gaining immediate
job skills, CAC can help that student reach his or her goals. The classes
are offered during the day, evening, some weekends and online. The Signal
Peak Campus provides a child care center during the day. The college has
support programs for adult re-entry students, students with special needs
and at-risk students.
