For 120 years, the Flagstaff Chamber of Commerce has served local businesses and the community at large with the constant goal of expanding the region’s economic vitality, which is so essential in creating and preserving the quality of life we enjoy.
The Chamber works to support its members through five target areas of relevance to the business community:

- Representing the Interests of Business Before Government

The Chamber tackles issues such as economic development, education, healthcare and workforce readiness to make sure that Flagstaff businesses have the resources they need to thrive. It provides community-wide events that highlight the city, such as the annual 4th of July and Holiday Lights parades and Winterfest, a month-long celebration of winter events in February. Networking opportunities including Good Morning Flagstaff breakfasts and Business After 5 gatherings.
The Chamber also uses the latest in cutting-edge technology to promote its members - from social media and blog sites to the free MyChamberApp, which puts member business information into the palms of customers’ hands on their smart phones or iPads.

In the realm of Government Affairs, the Chamber works hard to represent the interests of business to local, state and federal lawmakers. It also supports pro-business candidates and initiatives through its political action committee, BizPAC.
Some of the Chamber’s signature initiatives include:
-Buy•Dine•Stay in Flagstaff. Buy•Dine•Stay reminds everyone that buying goods and services in Flagstaff retains jobs and maintains the quality of life in our mountain town.
-Skills for Success. This workforce development initiative pairs Chamber businesses with classrooms to makes students aware of the career opportunities available in Flagstaff and the soft skills students need to develop to be successful.
-Business counseling – From Chamber Café lunchtime classes to one-on-one counseling with volunteers from SCORE - Counselors to America’s Small Business, the Chamber offers low cost ways for businesses to be more successful and expand their enterprises.
