CHAIRMAN MESSAGE

Dear Chamber Member:

Chairman of the BoardOn behalf of our Board of Directors and staff, I am pleased to present the 1999 edition of the Chamber Member Buyers’ Guide and Regional Profile.

This publication is the result of new direction and focus of our organization to provide an enhanced image to our members and the Glendale area business community.

We believe you will find this magazine a valuable guide in your day-to-day business and encourage you to "buy Chamber" when purchasing goods and services. We also encourage you to become familiar with the many Chamber programs and services listed in order for you to take full advantage of your membership.

During the past year, the Chamber's Board of Directors and staff have focused on long-range planning, strengthening our relations with local government officials, upgrading office technology and developing financial and marketing strategies to better position ourselves as a leader among the West Valley chambers.

This will be a pivotal year for our organization as we look to: build our membership base, retire our building debt and develop new programs and services for our members while expanding existing ones.

I look forward to working with our Board of Directors and new President, Don Rinehart, to foster the continued growth and prosperity of our business community.

Sincerely,

Dave Duran
U.S. West Communications
