Formula
One Boat Racing
The Formula One Racing Outboard Performance Tour brings high-speed racing
to the Colorado River just north of the Laughlin Bridge. More than 7,500
racing fans will watch lightweight Formula One tunnel boats race across
the river on a cushion of air at speeds of up to 135 mph. Superstock flatbottom
and inflatable power boat races and jet ski displays are also featured
in the event filmed for ESPN2.

Sidewalk Egg-Frying
Challenge

Teams of two cookers have 15 minutes to cook an egg using only solar heat
(which may be augmented by magnifying glasses, mirrors, etc.). The egg
that looks most edible at the end of that period wins.

Gunfighting re-enactment
groups
from all over the southwest perform. During the finale of this public
performance, over 500 rounds of blank ammunition will have been fired
and "bodies" will be stacked all over Main Street.

Laughlin Shoot Out
(Professional Bull Riders Series)
A nationally televised competition featuring 45 of the worlds top
professional bull riders vying for almost $100,000 in the Bud Light Cup
Series. This event draws upwards of 10,000 visitors to the area for the
two-night "chute-out." Fireworks, country western entertainment,
autograph sessions, dances and barbecues are also offered.

Hot air balloons take
to the air over the Colorado River. Balloonists compete for more than
$10,000 in prize money during the three-day event. Nightglows take place
on Friday and Saturday evening. Visitors can buy a ride in balloons offering
breathtaking views of the Tri-state area.

For more than 24 years, the Fort Mojave Indian Tribe has used this annual
event to show off collective accomplishments. The festive event features
a parade, arts and crafts, food, fun and a forum for interaction with
surrounding communities.

This event also includes live entertainment, vendor booths, Shout and
Holler and Salsa contests, a casino chili challenge and the Miss Chili
Pepper and Mr. Hot Salsa competition.

Laughlin Team Roping
Finals
Hundreds of cowboys and cowgirls will attempt to beat the clock during
this four-day event. Winning teams in each of seven different divisions
will be guaranteed a minimum of $10,000 each. Viewing is free to the public.
