With all the entertainment options in Peoria, the only question visitors and residents have is: What do we do first?
The Peoria Sports Complex is a multi-use venue that hosts regular sports and entertainment programs. Consisting of a stadium and 12 practice fields, the complex was the first Major League Baseball spring training and player development facility in the country that is shared by two teams. The Seattle Mariners and San Diego Padres both utilize the complex. Each team has six major league-sized practice fields, an over 40,000- square foot clubhouse, and indoor/outdoor batting tunnels and cages. The shared main stadium seats over 11,000 fans. The Peoria Sports Complex is also used for events throughout the year, including concerts, sports camps, tournaments, trade shows, art shows, festivals, fireworks and much more.
Close to the Peoria Sports Complex are two ice skating rinks, a roller skating facility and movie theaters.
Within one to two miles from Peoria resides the Arizona Cardinals home football stadium, with the only all grass field that is played upon in a climate controlled stadium. Next door is the Phoenix Coyotes Arena—hockey at its best!
