Prescott Valley is rich in a variety of cultural activities for all ages. The beautifully landscaped grounds at the Prescott Valley Civic Center create the setting for the “Art at the Center” collection, as well as the annual World Arts Festival.

Fain Park is home to a historical mining display as well as ancient Native American ruins. In the contemporary town center, Harkins Theater, a 14-screen Cineplex, anchors an entertainment district, which includes restaurants, shops, a family fun center and an outdoor concert venue.

Yavapai Downs at Prescott Valley offers beautiful mountain vistas, horse racing, and hundreds of community activities. Local, state and national events are staged at this modern, versatile venue, and it is also the home of the Yavapai County Fair. Tim’s Toyota Center is home to the Arizona Sundogs professional hockey team, Arizona Adrenaline Arena football team and numerous concerts, family shows and community events.

One of the largest outdoor facilities of its kind in the entire state, the Prescott Valley Amphitheater accommodates 30,000 people nestled inside Mountain Valley Park. Famous entertainers and popular rock bands often perform at this centrally located venue. The facility also acts as the site for league play and major tournaments for a variety of sports. One of the town’s most celebrated annual events, the July 4th Fireworks Celebration, gathers the entire community for a night of picnicking, concerts and fireworks. The Arizona Parks and Recreation Association designated the park as an Outstanding Recreation Facility in 1996.

Fifteen years ago, with assistance from the Prescott Valley Chamber of Commerce, the Prescott Valley Art Guild was established. Art and culture are embraced and encouraged through this organization, which actively promotes imagination and creativity from the community. Acclaimed artists and teachers teach workshops and classes through the Guild. Youth Arts month is celebrated in March, and the World Arts Festival is held annually in September.

Now in its 35th year, the Prescott Fine Arts Association (PFAA) has been the biggest contributor to the community’s cultural and artistic needs. They vigorously provide entertainment, education and participation for our town’s residents and showcase a full season of Community Theater. The numerous concerts, art exhibits and scholarship competitions supported and offered by the PFAA over the years are proof of the organization’s dedication to its craft.
