Higher Education:

Northland Pioneer College

Serving the residents of both Navajo and Apache counties, Northland Pioneer College (NPC) is composed of four regional campuses and six centers offering educational opportunities for academic advancement, career and technical training, adult basic education and personal enhancement. In total, NPC supplies excellent education to more than 12,000 students through over 8,000 courses in fall and spring and 2,000 courses in the summer months. Additionally, distance education courses are available throughout the year.

Within the White Mountain region, local residents have access to the Show Low-White Mountain Campus, which encompasses the largest enrollment in the network; the Silver Creek Campus in Snowflake/Taylor; and off-campus centers in Heber, Eagar and St. Johns.
