There is no better time to be a member of the Benton Area Chamber of Commerce than right now. Our tagline says it all: we are business focused and community minded in the area of business and economic development. The Chamber continually engages in positive actions within the community. We have recently worked with the Saline County Economic Development Corporation on several requests for proposals, assisted the City in forming economic incentives for new and existing businesses and provide continued opportunities to existing Chamber members to network, grow and showcase their businesses.
Our staff and volunteers have worked hard in providing our community with a professional Chamber for all to use. Our newly renovated facility offers top-notch technology and useful facilities that business professionals can be proud of. We continually strive to be a well-respected, recognized and appreciated organization in our community. It is definitely a busy and exciting time in the Chamber’s life!
Our community also maintains a positive momentum. Our schools – some of the best in the state – are in the process of a $30 million construction and renovation project for school facilities. The City of Benton itself has increased in ability to accommodate coming growth through a recently completed $26 million utility project. Helping to drive that growth, the City and Chamber’s participation in annual events, such as the Wally Hall Tournament of Champions, provides wonderful opportunities for our people, while at the same time increasing sales revenues for our local businesses.
