Our Religious Community
The spiritual community of El Dorado is vibrant and active, with a broad representation of denominations established in town. Parishioners gather regularly for daily worship services and special holiday services, forming a close-knit religious community.
The generosity of the people in El Dorado is second-to-none, and nowhere is this more evident than in the local church community. Many of the churches in El Dorado work together in order to provide much-needed human services to the less fortunate. One noteworthy organization formed by local churches is InterFaith Help Services (IHS). IHS supplies food, medication, utility assistance, dental assistance and other services and programs for those in need. Local churches also provide a variety of unique volunteer and outreach opportunities covering a multitude of community needs.
