Industry in Russellville

indian

Russellville is the home to 48 major manufacturing facilities, including divisions of 10 Fortune 500 companies. Industries such as Firestone, Dana, Tyson Foods, ConAgra Foods, International Paper and Dow Chemical all thrive in Russellville. The diversification of these and other industries provide Russellville’s greatest asset — a quality labor force built around a strong nucleus of skilled laborers, technicians and administrative personnel.

Manufacturers in the River Valley produce aluminum foil, aircraft components, electronics, numerous food products, metal fabrication, automotive parts, paper products, plastics, and even nuclear power. Arkansas Nuclear One, located along the banks of the Arkansas River, just outside of Russellville, is the only nuclear power plant in Arkansas.

Some of the largest manufacturing employers in the area include ConAgra Foods, Tyson Foods, Arkansas Nuclear One and Dana Corporation.
