On behalf of the City of Anaheim, Welcome.
The City of Anaheim is a great place to do business. In addition to being an
internationally recognized sports and entertainment capital, Anaheim has earned a national reputation as a business-friendly city that tackles common problems with new technologies and a sensible free-market approach. As a city about to embark on its 150th birthday—its Sesquicentennial—we take pride in our legacy of
supporting growth opportunities for business owners at every level.
Growing up in a family small business, I learned firsthand the hard work that goes into running a successful business. Here in Anaheim, we have a City Council that understands the value of business in building a strong economy
A recent example of this is Anaheim’s freedom-friendly approach to Citywide Wi-Fi. By lifting restrictions and allowing the business sector to develop solutions that benefit consumers throughout our entire city, the City of Anaheim will be the first large city in the nation to go wireless by year’s end.
Whether you are a Fortune 500 company or a home-based business, the City of Anaheim is working hard to make doing business in Anaheim even easier. Later this year we will unveil “Anaheim Anytime,” a two-pronged approach to making it easier to work with City Hall by offering more services online and by adding a non-emergency 311 hotline.
The Chamber of Commerce has long been a vital network for business in our City. To new members of the Anaheim business community, you have chosen a place dedicated to your well-being and dedicated to work alongside you to make your business successful. To those considering a move to Anaheim, know that whether you make, high tech computer processors or work in a small family business, the City of Anaheim is committed to our business community.
