Chief Executive Officer
The Arcadia Chamber of Commerce has been creating community pride through business for more than 90 years since it was originally formed in 1921 and incorporated in 1934.
Arcadia residents rely on the Chamber to present two of the community’s annual signature events:
• Citizen of the Year dinner (late March / early April)
• Taste of Arcadia and Business Showcase at the Taste (late September) – nearly 1,000 attendees at the open-air setting of the beautiful Los Angeles County Arboretum.
But the Chamber’s primary role is to maintain and increase the vitality of business, which leads to the City of Arcadia creating such an outstanding community that it was named by Business Week magazine two years in a row as the “best place to raise your kids” in California and one of the best places in America in 2009-10.
The Chamber’s board of directors and executive committee represent a broad array of businesses, from the San Gabriel Valley’s finest Westfield Santa Anita mall and its neighboring world-class Santa Anita Park horse race track, and the biggest banks, such as Wells Fargo, and financial companies such as Merrill Lynch, to successful independent restaurants like Matt Denny’s Ale House and local organizations such as the Arcadia Chinese Association.
