Arcadia is one of the cleanest and safest cities with one of the best school districts in the state. It is filled with parks, trees, and a strongly supported civic infrastructure that includes myriad year-round recreation services for families and seniors, and a top-flight public library and museum of heritage.
It takes commitment from the community to maintain that high level of service.
The Chamber takes pride in its role in providing support for the more than $12 million that the City of Arcadia derives from the sales taxes and license fees on local businesses, or roughly 25 percent of the city’s $48 million in annual revenue.
The Chamber represents 500 businesses and organizations, some of which have been members for nearly half-a-century. Despite being a relatively small bedroom community with no major industries, the Chamber ranks among the top 40 of more than 125 Chambers in Los Angeles County in terms of its annual budget.
