Fountain Works – July 3, 2008
This annual city event in Town Square celebrates the nation’s independence day. Bands, food, and activities for all ages make this the perfect way to enjoy your 3rd of July.
Oktoberfest & Craft Fair – October 17 & 18, 2008
This will be the third year for this annual two-day festival in Town Square, beginning on Friday evening at 5:00 p.m. A beer garden featuring Warsteiner Beer will be the center attraction. Authentic German food will be served, and the German-American Brass Band will entertain until 10:00 p.m. each evening. The beer garden will close at 11:00 p.m. both nights. Saturday is a full day of activities starting at 10:00 a.m. Again this year, children activities will be from 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., and a Fall Craft Fair will also be from 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Healing Fields – November 2008
Produced by the Cathedral City Rotary Club, this moving event features one U.S. Flag for each military person lost in the Afghanistan and Iraq conflict. The flags are displayed in Patriot Park at the corner of Date Palm and Dinah Shore Drives. Please check with the Chamber for the exact dates closer to the event.
