Clovis residents wishing to continue their education at the college or university level have several quality options both in and around the city of Clovis.

Clovis is home to the State Community College – Clovis Campus and the Willow International Center, Institute of Technology, as well as ITT Technical Institute, Golden State College, Maric College, University of Phoenix and the Clovis Adult School. Combined, the schools offer a variety of continuing education classes, associate and bachelor’s degree programs.

Additionally, the city is home to the San Joaquin College of Law, a well-known and respected school of legal education for aspiring legal practitioners. Founded in 1970, SJCL has distinguished itself as a small but significant school of law throughout the country. Over 88 percent of its graduates have passed the California Bar Exam, commonly known as the most difficult bar exam in the nation.

The school is recognized as a serious contender in the area of moot court competitions. As the legal research center for law students and practitioners throughout the valley, SJCL offers its students access to a wide variety of resources including experience working with local lawyers.
