Quality healthcare is available throughout Clovis and the surrounding areas. Adults and children can find care at the Clovis Community Medical Center, Kaiser Permanente, Children’s Hospital Central California, Saint Agnes Medical Center as well as several private practices specializing in everything from internal medicine to obstetrics and optometry to dental care.

Clovis Community Medical Center, opened in 1988, is a 109-bed, acute-care facility offering medical and surgical services, orthopedic and sports medicine with rehabilitation, an extensive bariatric clinic, cardiovascular services, a 24-hour emergency room and a critical care unit. Other services include a birth center, urgent care and an outpatient care center, which opened to the public in 2002.

Kaiser Permanente has offices in Clovis offering medical care for adults and children. Other services include health education, laboratory services, obstetrics/gynecology, pharmacy, physical medicine, radiology and a personal physician selection service.

Saint Agnes Medical Center opened at its current location on Herndon Avenue in the 1970s. In 1998, it began its largest expansion that doubled the size of the hospital and added 100 new rooms.

Patients from around the country come to Fresno County in search of the quality pediatric care available at the Children’s Hospital Central California. Children’s is the 13th largest freestanding pediatric hospital in the nation. Offering over 15 services and care in over 30 specialties, Children’s Hospital provides exceptional care for every child and caregiver who visits their facility.
