Chamber Overview

On behalf of the Chamber Board of Directors and our business community, I wish to welcome you to our little Spa City nestled against the hills of Joshua Tree National Monument and overlooking Palm Springs. We attract visitors from around the world who come here to experience the therapeutic effects of our healing mineral waters and to take in the panoramic views of the San Jacinto and Big Bear mountains. Our magnificent scenery and easy access to all the events and attractions in the other Desert Resort cities make visiting Desert Hot Springs a must for Coachella Valley tourists.

The city is home to several internationally recognized and award-winning spas that use the world’s finest natural hot mineral water aquifers, a derivative of the tectonic energy from the San Andreas Fault, which runs directly through town. Desert Hot Springs also boasts internationally award-winning municipal drinking water, recognized in the top three in the world over the past decade.

Cabot Yerxa Pueblo Museum is located right inside the heart of the city. Along with the museum, you will find the Visitor Center and a trading post stocked full of art, jewelry and desert keepsakes. Tours of the Pueblo are conducted daily.

Festival

For those who are planning on relocating their families or their businesses to Desert Hot Springs, you will find small-town hospitality mixed with professional support through the Chamber and city services. The city is one of the most affordable to purchase a home in the Coachella Valley, and we are quickly becoming a commuting point for Los Angeles and Orange County residences looking for affordable housing and natural beauty.

I welcome you to stop into our office if you have any questions or you just want to say hi. We are always eager to meet our visitors and to help them enjoy our city to the fullest.
