The officers, directors and members of the

I-15 Diamond Gateway Chamber of Commerce proudly present the 2004/2005 Community Profile and Membership Directory.

We’d like to welcome you to the North City area of San Diego. Whether you are a visitor, newcomer, business prospector resident, we invite you to enjoy and explore the wonderful communities represented bythe I-15 Chamber — Carmel Mountain Ranch, Mira Mesa, Miramar, Rancho Penasquitos, Sabre Springs and Scripps Ranch.

Located just a few miles north of downtown San Diego, these communities offer you the best of both worlds — the convenience and friendly feel of strong, local community bonds combined with the cosmopolitan amenities of San Diego, “America’s Finest City.”

The I-15 Diamond Gateway Chamber of Commerce offers information about local events, acts as a reference to area businesses and provides help in times of need. The Chamber’s vision statement is “to be the Chamber of choice for the I-15 corridor,” and we take this statement very seriously.

The “Community Profile and Business Directory” is designed as a single, comprehensive source of information about the I-15 Diamond Gateway’s six communities. This publication lists Chamber members, who take pride in bringing you top quality products and services. These businessmen and women make a positive statement through their Chamber membership, and they are participating in the future of San Diego, North City.

We chose this publication as a way to provide access to information you need, whether using the hard copy version or the Internet via our website or Please use both to ensure the maximum benefit for the next two years. The hard copy version is a great reference when you’re on the go, and the Internet sites will be updated periodically.

In 2004, the I-15 Diamond Gateway Chamber of Commerce celebrates its 16th year of service to the North City area of San Diego. Over these years, the Chamber has been a consistent voice in advocating for business in the communities it represents and at all levels of government. The Chamber works hard to keep on top of issues and strategies through membership, participation and/or partnership with various organizations, including the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the California Chamber of Commerce. We continually strive to meet our mission: “To enhance business through advocacy, education and community involvement; to provide a dynamic, supportive environment for business growth and develop.”

The Chamber needs the support and involvement of the business and residential community to fulfill its goals. As evidenced by the aftermath of the terrible wildfires that tore through the region in 2003, cooperation between all aspects of the community is a vital component in making the North City area truly a place to call home.

We welcome you to join us.
