Meeting Places

Conference Centers

Business owners in our mountain communities don’t need to rent more office space than they need on a daily basis. Our communities have encouraged a strong network of meeting spaces and conference centers to accommodate special needs. Besides our Oakhurst and Coarsegold Community Centers, we also have the following:

The Pines Resort and Conference Center in the Sierra National Forest on the north shore of Bass Lake features 50 acres devoted to 84 two-story chalets and 20 richly appointed suites. Twelve of the lakefront suites have in-room spas.

Visitors may request accommodations with a desk and data ports for state-of-the-art convenience.
The meeting rooms and banquet facilities here can accommodate 400 guests, with video conferencing and software available for professional presentations.

Episcopal Conference Center in Oakhurst (ECCO) has been serving Eastern Madera County for 22 years. Owned by the Episcopal Diocese of San Joaquin, ECCO has matured at a quiet, steady pace in keeping with the tranquility of its 160 acres of forests and meadows. Thanks to its seclusion just off Highway 41, guests enjoy watching ducks, herons, mud hens and other waterfowl settle on its pond throughout the year.

Used primarily as a conference center, ECCO can house up to 150 people. A variety of well-appointed meeting rooms offer church, educational, and non-profit organizations a place to meet in perfect serenity. A superb dining room accommodates groups as small as 15 to banquets of more than 200.
