Environmental Information
The Emeryville Chamber of Commerce joins the city of Emeryville in taking pride in converting from a city that was once known for a high level of toxic contamination to a modern, clean and environmentally-friendly place to live, work, shop and conduct business. This new aspect of Emeryville’s transformation manifests itself in a variety of services and programs for business, residents and visitors.
The Emeryville Chamber of Commerce has partnered with the Alameda County Green Business Program to promote environmentally sustainable business practices. Additional information is available on the home page of the Chamber’s website, www.emeryvillechamber.com. The Emeryville Chamber of Commerce received its official certification as an Alameda County Green Business in February, 2006, and was recertified in December, 2009 for another three years.
