Fresno offers a great variety of food. With over 100 dining establishments existing in the city to satisfy those hunger pains, the Fresno resident is never short on options. From French to Mexican, Armenian to Thai, Japanese and Basque, you could say we’ve got it all! In our great city, these worldly delights are available to tease the palate and please the daring diner. For those who may be less adventurous, there is no shortage of restaurants serving classic American favorites throughout the city.

The Tower District, Fig Garden, Fashion Fair and the River Park area offer a variety of restaurants ranging from fine dining to comfort food. We are proud to show our support for these great businesses in many ways, from offering free exhibition of local restaurants at our yearly trade shows to allowing them to host our monthly mixers, a great way to get exposure in the business community.

Along with the numerous dining opportunities come endless opportunities for shopping. From plazas, strip malls and freestanding businesses to outdoor shopping centers and enclosed malls, there is something for everyone.

Some of the larger malls and shopping centers include the Fashion Fair Mall, Fig Garden Village, the Galleria, Gallery Plaza, Manchester Center, North Pointe Center, Pavilion West, River Park Place, Sierra Vista Mall and the Tower District.

Fulton Street Mall is part of a revitalized area in downtown and remains a popular pedestrian mall. This Mall was one of the first of its kind in the country and gained national recognition. The mall was dedicated in 1964 and remains a fine example of community spirit. It is also a location of historical interest with many architectural styles representing various time periods.

Many businesses thrive due to the Chamber’s dedicated members working to promote local business and enhance the economic and cultural well-being of the people of Fresno County. For more than 110 years, the Chamber has been providing education programs and information to business owners, exposing the public to the area businesses’ products and services, and offering a supportive atmosphere for networking and problem solving.
