When eyes are blind, great things can happen. Fresno is a shining example of people coming together from different faiths, races, age groups, genders and socioeconomic status to make their world a better place to live.

Over 85 ethnic groups reside in the city of Fresno. These groups are served by numerous houses of worship and faith-based organizations working to bring people together. Many of these organizations are considered both non-denominational and cross-cultural.
In fact, this openness of faith and spirit is one of the reasons Fresno was chosen as an All American City by the National Civic League. The National Civic League recognized Fresno’s numerous faith-based initiatives that work diligently to improve the quality of life for people all across the city.
