Community Medical Centers has been giving back to California’s San Joaquin Valley for more than 100 years. As the most comprehensive and technologically advanced hospital system in the region, Community operates four acute-care hospitals – Community Regional Medical Center, Clovis Community Medical Center, Fresno Heart & Surgical Hospital and Community Behavioral Health Center – along with several other health care facilities. Community Regional Medical Center
Community Regional Medical Center is the flagship of Community Medical Centers with 909 licensed beds and an average of 640 inpatients a day – ranking the third largest health care system in California. The 58-acre campus in downtown Fresno provides central California residents with the highest level of care available in the region. Its affiliation with University of California, San Francisco Medical School – one of the top medical schools in the nation – gives patients access to some of the brightest medical specialists in the country. While best known for its leading-edge trauma and burn centers, Community Regional is home to expert private and academic physicians who provide nearly 50 medical specialty services, including the region’s largest Lung Nodule Program that expedites care for lung cancer patients. As a leader in cardiac services, Community Regional was chosen as one of a few select hospitals in the nation to administer the HeartMate II, a revolutionary new heart pump for patients with congestive heart failure who are waiting for a heart transplant. As one of the busiest birthing centers in California, Community Regional offers the largest Level III neonatal intensive care unit in the Valley and is the only place in the area where mothers and babies can stay together during treatment.

Clovis Community Medical Center
Clovis Community Medical Center is a favorite among patients and physicians with amenities including all-private rooms, beautiful campus enhancements, room service-style dining and the most advanced technologies available. Clovis Community was chosen as “Best Hospital” by the Fresno Bee’s Central Valley’s 2014 People’s Choice Awards two years in a row.

Clovis Community Medical Center completed a huge $300-plus million expansion and renovation project in 2014 that truly transformed the patient experience at the 140-acre campus. Some highlights of the construction and renovation project included a five-story bed tower with 208 all-private rooms, a new Women’s Pavilion with private labor and delivery and postpartum rooms as well as an eight-bed neonatal intensive care unit. The main hospital expanded to house advanced surgical technology with new state-of-the-art operating rooms and robotic surgery technology. While this latest phase is complete, there is other expansion currently in progress. Clovis Community continues to evolve and grow to provide truly comprehensive services for the region.

Fresno Heart & Surgical Hospital
Located in north Fresno by Woodward Park, Fresno Heart & Surgical Hospital has received the Healthgrades Outstanding Patient Experience Award for the eighth consecutive year and is among the nation’s top 15 percent for consistently delivering care that patients rate as exceptional. It is one of only 25 California hospitals recognized by Healthgrades as the top in-patient experience. Fresno Heart & Surgical is known for all-private rooms and individualized accommodations in a hotel-like setting. Patients remember the staff as warm, friendly and responsive. Fresno Heart & Surgical also has been recognized for its clinical excellence in bariatric surgery, vascular surgery, carotid surgery and intensive care nursing. Also, for the second year in a row, the hospital got top marks from the Society of Thoracic Surgeons for coronary artery bypass graft surgery.

Community Behavioral Health Center
Community Behavioral Health Center is the largest psychiatric-care facility in the area providing 24-hour adult inpatient psychiatric care. The 61-bed facility offers four separate units with levels of care that are appropriate to the functional levels of their patients. Community Behavioral Health received full reaccreditation by the Joint Commission in 2014. The hospital is located near Herndon and Cedar avenues in north Fresno.

Fresno Surgical Hospital
Fresno Surgical Hospital (FSH) is a fully licensed, Joint Commission-accredited hospital that delivers award-winning surgical care and patient satisfaction. It is a physician-owned hospital that focuses solely on providing advanced surgical care. Saint Agnes Medical Center
Saint Agnes Medical Center’s mission of healing body, mind and spirit dates back to 1929, when the Sisters of the Holy Cross first opened its doors in Fresno. More than 85 years later, the 436-bed state-of-the-art Medical Center enjoys a strong reputation for its delivery of high-quality, compassionate care and is highly respected for its clinical and service excellence.

Kaiser Permanente Fresno
For more than 25 years, Kaiser Permanente Fresno has been providing high-quality, affordable health care to their members and the communities of Fresno, Madera, Kings and Tulare counties. As a vital member of the business community, Kaiser Permanente Fresno is one of the largest private-sector employers in the Central San Joaquin Valley with more than 2,000 employees and more than 250 physicians.

Valley Children’s Healthcare
Valley Children’s Healthcare – one of the largest pediatric health care networks in the nation – provides Central California’s only high-quality, comprehensive care exclusively for children, from before birth to young adulthood.
