Shopping in Fresno

The cash register is always ringing with Fresno area stores and malls, accommodating millions of enthusiastic shoppers every year. The choices are limitless, whether you are looking for clothes, electronics, home improvement and car supplies, novelty gifts, furniture, jewelry and more. Fresno has four malls, containing every imaginable store available, to meet the demands of a diverse and culturally experienced community.

Fulton Mall

Fulton Mall in Downtown Fresno is the city’s oldest and most creative mall. Within walking distance of all of Fresno’s governmental agencies, Fulton Mall is a four block outdoor pedestrian mall, which features sculptures, gardens, fountains and shaded seating areas. Its merchants offer a variety of goods, including furniture, jewelry, and clothing.

Manchester Mall is located off Highway 41, at the Shields Avenue exit. Shop at Sears, Gottschalks, Long’s Drug Stores and more than 60 specialty shops for a truly rewarding buying experience. The kids will have a blast riding The Magnificent Carousel. Dine at Red Robin or Manchester’s Food Court.

Fig Garden Village is a quaint collection of 50 of Fresno’s finest fashion, gift and specialty stores. Located at Palm and Shaw, it offers world-class dining at some of the area’s most well-known places to eat. The Ripe Tomato, The Elbow Room, and Bulldog Brewery tempt the taste buds with a wide assortment of culinary classics that will leave you wanting more.

Fashion Fair Mal

Fashion Fair Mall is Fresno’s biggest indoor mall. Located at Shaw Avenue off Highway 41, it houses 120 stores and three major department stores, including J.C. Penney, Gottschalks and Macy’s. After a hard day of shopping, stop at the Food Fair, an international food court that offers more than 10 different varieties of food for the whole family to enjoy.

The city’s cultural center, the Tower District, is a Fresno icon, bringing together the past and the present along with the future in a nice blend of specialty stores and shops.
