From a dining perspective, what Indian Wells lacks in quantity, it excels in quality. The city boasts a small number of top flight restaurants, helmed by award-winning chefs, who play up their connection to the region’s pastoral environment and fresh California ingredients.
For example, Loren (located at the Indian Wells Resort Hotel) is a Mediterranean-style restaurant featuring fine American-Continental cuisine and one of the area’s more extensive wine cellars.
The Santa Rosa Grille (stationed in the Hyatt Grand Champions Resort & Spa) features meat, seafood and pizzas from wood-burning ovens. The award-winning Sirocco (located at the Renaissance Esmeralda Resort & Spa) specializes in Italian cuisine.
And Northern Italian-flavored Ristorante Brissago (at the Miramonte Resort & Spa) features indoor and outdoor dining as well as an exhibition kitchen.
In addition to the excellent restaurants located in our resorts, the City is home to four other outstanding dining venues. Don Diego’s serves Mexican cuisine, traditional steaks, lobster tail and shrimp dishes.
With a friendly bar and great margaritas, it is a popular destination for residents and visitors. Le St. Germain has been described by Zagat as a “French oasis in the desert.” With a fusion of French cuisine served with California flair amidst an exquisite bistro setting, the service is as exceptional as the menu.
The Nest is a long time local favorite featuring favorites from France, Switzerland, Italy and America. The cozy European atmosphere is enhanced by a piano bar. Vicky’s of Santa Fe showcases old-world adobe architecture, Mexican pavers and vaulted ceilings. Time honored favorites including steaks and seafood are served in one of three separate dining rooms.
