Letter from the Mayor

The 2006/2007 Indio Magazine and Business Directory is provided to you on behalf of the membership of the Indio Chamber of Commerce, the City of Indio, and the advertisers. Indio is the oldest incorporated and largest city in the Coachella Valley with approximately 75,000 residents. The 760-plus Chamber members have one of the strongest dynamic organizations participating in the promotion of Indio’s continued success as a place to live, work, invest, or visit.

This magazine is made possible by its advertisers. They represent a broad cross-section of business, professional, and institutional interests that are part of this strategically located and growing community. We urge you to support the advertisers and Indio Chamber members with your business. This magazine will be distributed throughout this year to new city residents and businesses, all Chamber members, visitors, and site electors for businesses.

We urge new business prospects to come on board and enjoy the advantages of doing business in Indio. Our goal is to help locally based businesses to be successful. This magazine is dedicated to the City of Festivals — Indio — the home of exciting, world-class festivals, including the famous National Date Festival, Southwest Arts Festival, International Tamale Festival, Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival, and numerous polo events of international fame.
