The Ambassadors are the goodwill arm of the Chamber and the business community. They participate in ribbon cuttings, grand openings and other Chamber events. Ambassadors act as "special greeters" at the Chamber’s many activities and they are responsible for introducing and welcoming new members. The committee meets the third Tuesday of the month in the Livermore Chamber conference room at noon. For further information or to join this committee contact Nicole Nixon at 925-447-1606 ext. 203.

Education Committee
Business owners are well aware of the importance of an educated workforce and are spending a great deal of time working with educators to enhance the educational system. The committee meets on an as-needed basis.
Economic Development/ Government Affairs
Business and political leaders discuss issues that impact business and quality of life in the area. CEOs of new businesses are invited to tell the community about their business and why they decided to do business in Livermore. This committee also organizes political forums for key races in the area. This very prestigious committee is a great way to network. The committee meets the first Wednesday of each month in the Livermore Chamber conference room at 7:30 a.m. Open to all members. For further information contact Dale Kaye at 925-447-1606 ext. 202.

Livermore Valley Film Commission
The Livermore Valley Film Commission was formed to market the area as a location for television and film production. The Film Commission (which includes the Mayor and County Supervisor as members) helps unravel red tape for filmmakers, and acts as a one-stop permit office. The staff helps scout locations and continues to lend support to productions once they begin work. Location filming has huge economic benefits for all businesses in an area. One production can leave millions of dollars in a city, and the Chamber feels this is a great way to serve its members and its community.
Hispanic Business Council
The Livermore Chamber Hispanic Business Council is designed to give Hispanic business owners more of a voice in the Chamber and the community. Its goal is also to teach other members about how to reach and sell to the Hispanic market. This committee is a separate arm of economic development, but like economic development, provides networking opportunities and introduces business leaders to the chamber membership and government officials. This committee meets the second Wednesday of each month at 2:00 p.m. in the Livermore Chamber conference room. To join, call Martha Espinoza at 925-447-1606 ext. 201.
