City of Livermore
Livermore is a city of approximately 81,000 residents. Incorporated in 1876, the city is located approximately 43 miles east of San Francisco. The character and heritage of Livermore make it a special place to live and work.
Livermore’s local and regional economy is strong and diverse. The city’s inclusion within the Northern California markets and employment centers enables the city to benefit from business development and expansion, while preserving the quality of life that originally brought people to Livermore.
Much of the appeal of Livermore can be found in its Historic Downtown Area, a treasure of restaurants and shops that reflect the city’s growing art community and popularity; as well as 41 beautiful wineries. Livermore is increasingly becoming recognized for what it’s been since the 1800s, premier wine country.
