Sandia National Laboratories, a Lockheed Martin subsidiary, designs non-nuclear components for the nation’s nuclear weapons, conducts a wide variety of energy research and development, and works on assignments that respond to national security threats. Sandia’s Livermore site employs close to 1,000 people.
