The Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) station is located 10 miles west of Livermore. Transit service is offered to and from San Francisco weekdays 4:00 a.m. to midnight, Saturdays from 6:00 a.m. to midnight and Sundays from 8:00 a.m. to midnight. Livermore owns and operates the 590-acre Livermore Municipal Airport located at 636 Terminal Circle. It is a general aviation airport serving private and corporate customers. The facility has two parallel runways, a 5,255’ lighted main runway and a 2,700’ training runway, along with 24 city-owned operations buildings.
In addition to the city’s own airport, three international airports, Oakland, San Jose and San Francisco, are within an hour’s drive.
